thanks a lot for your comments, containig a lot of positive and constructive critic as well as great suggestions for improvement! Believe us, we read every comment and also try to answer as many as possible. A longer response we already gave in one of the later posts, nevertheless we wana respond to a important aspect now.

The most important thing at the Fisherman’s Friend StrongmanRun is fun, passion, own boundarys, the challenge to accomplish something crazy, overcoming 21.6 kilometers and 30 obstacles and helping other runners - and NOT reaching the finishing line in a certain time limit.Therefore there wont be a time limit anymore. All runners who have accomplished two rounds - no matter in what time - can consider themselves as Fisherman’s Friend StrongmanRun Finishers. Only runners who’ve accomplished one round or did not behave fair and correct will be marked as FAILED.

Still there is to be said that we respect every accomplishment. No matter whether you’ve made one or two rounds, or if your name is Pocher or Miller. We can’t note every runner who has skipped obstacles and we don’t want to. In the end it’s for everyones on sake and glory to take all obstacles and not fool themselves.

We are proud of you and will work on integrating our experiences and learnings in 2013 to widen, improve and grow track and obstacles. Until May 14th the inofficial results are valid. After that we will post the official on (without time limit).

2. Shouldn’t you be able to find your confirmation email - that’s not a problem: You receive your starterkit by showing your passport or ID-card
3. A friend can pick up your starterkit with an authorisation signed by you and a copy of your passport or ID-card

Obstacle 14: This obstacle was developed in corporation with our running partner Brooks. Here you have to climb up several pyramids out of straw with a height of approximately 3.5 meters. Apart from strength and fitness this obstacle requires mostly teamwork to be overcome!
